Welcome to the City of Dreams, where anything is possible. Our latest foray in the world of lagers takes us to Vienna, where the air is filled with pure music and Freud’s work on dream analysis changed the path of psychoanalysis forever.

City of Dreams has a light copper colour and stacked with toasty malt notes, like a freshly popped slice of perfectly cooked toast. There are some subtle caramel flavours and a pleasant spiced hop nose from the noble Styrian Golding hops. It’s crisp and perfectly balanced with some lingering malt sweetness.

 Drinking City of Dreams is like unearthing a repressed beer desire you never knew was there. Close your eyes and let all your liquid dreams come to life.

SOUTH AFRICAN HAZY IPA

Imagine South Africa. What do you think? Stunning scenery? Rich wildlife? A melting pot of ethnicities and cultures? Our latest beer will make you rethink what South Africa is about. The dry conditions make the hops grown there incredibly unique. We’ve added Southern Star and Southern Passion hops to our latest hazy beer and the result is phenomenal! It is hazy and orange, with huge berry and tropical fruit aromas. It’s very full-bodied with flavours of guava, pineapple, passionfruit and strawberry. It finishes with a lingering malty nuttiness.

MORNING PAGES

OATMEAL STOUT

We’ve taken interactive beer design to the next level to recreate that most enjoyable of morning pastimes – the daily crossword. Our specially design label allows you to peel off the crossword to reveal the clues, stick it down on a sheet of paper, crack the can and exercise your brain. Morning Pages is a full-bodied stout that’s big on flavour while low on alcohol. With more oatmeal than a boarding school breakfast, it’s smooth and velvety. You pick up coffee and dark chocolate flavours and aromas, with hints of cherry. Here’s a clue. At 3.3%, it’s perfect for drinking anytime – even over the morning crossword.

We’ve used the latest brewing technology (patent pending) to capture endless amounts of sunshine, warmth and happiness and carefully infuse it into our packaged beer. We’ve poured lashings of tropical fruit – guava, mango and pineapple – into a luscious, juicy New England Pale Ale base. It’s sprinkled liberally with Ekuanot, Citra and Simcoe hops to create a wildly aromatic golden elixir that goes straight to your veins and into your brain, wrapping your entire being in a golden glow that’ll burn off the doldrums of these cold, dark days. LITE BRITE

MUNICH HELLES

Our first lager! Helles translates from German as “light” “pale” or “bright”. The style is immensely refreshing, easy to drink and looks glorious in the glass. Expect soft bready notes from the pilsner malt, some sweet malt complexity and restrained bitterness from light additions of Czech Kazbar hops, a relative of the noble Saaz hop.

BARLEY WINE

Now and then, you want a beer that shines the light on complex and intense malt flavours. Now and then, you want a wintertime sipper that has a rich, chewy body and a gentle alcohol warmth that’ll see you through to spring. You may not want to drink barley wine every day but now and then – when the mercury dips, the dark night feels close and a slow-cooked meal is simmering on the stove - it’s just the ticket. Get it now, even if you won’t drink it until then. This beer will age beautifully and develop a more rounded body and port-like notes of dried fruit

BLUEBERRY COBBLER ALE

Fresh-baked cobbler - does anything smell better? We’ve captured the essence of walking into the kitchen on bake day with this ridiculously crushable and ludicrously aromatic fruit beer.

Wafting aromas of baked pie crust, vanilla and cinnamon emerge from the glass, which is filled by a beer of the most vibrant shade of violet thanks to an absurd dose of blueberry puree.

Don’t worry beer purists - this beer finishes dry and clean, with a lingering malt complexity. A fruit beer that actually tastes like beer

DAWN CHORUS

NZ-HOPPED HAZY IPA

We couldn’t finish up 2019 without one final haze-bomb to carry us through to 2020! Behold, the Dawn Chorus Hazy IPA, hopped exclusively with hops from New Zealand! Early European settlers to New Zealand described a riot of birdsong and insect chirps from wild and strange creatures as first light broke over the new land. Sipping this beer, you’ll experience something similar - a riot of tropical fruit notes like pineapple, papaya and mango with bright citrus notes of orange and grapefruit - all from the medley of Taiheke, Motueka, Moutere and Nelson Sauvin hops.
