RETROSPECTRUM PALE ALE
Retrospectrum Pale Ale is easy enough to drink every day, yet complex enough to challenge your taste buds every time. Perfectly balanced with a complex malt body, our hop-forward take on the classic American Pale Ale is exploding with tropical fruit and citrus aromas and flavours, thanks to generous late additions of Citra and Amarillo hops.

SUNSHINE RAIN IPA
Our take on the classic northwest American IPA shuns the heavy caramel and resin notes typically found in this style for something more refined and unique. Sunshine Rain has been brewed to be balanced, lively, fresh and dry, but doesn’t hold back with an aggressive dank and tropical hop punch - a combination of Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra hops.

SUPER SATURATION NEPA
We have jammed all the flavours and aromas we possibly could - and then some - into our New England Pale Ale. Red Shed raw wheat and oats provide a soft, pillowy body and silky mouthfeel. With a maelstrom of tropical hop flavours and aromas from out-of-this-world dosing of new world hops, this hazy beer will fill your heart and saturate your senses.

Seasonal, one-off, experimental and whimsical beers from the Cabin, brewed to be enjoyed now.
MOVIN’ TO THE COUNTRY PEACH COBBLER ALE (released SEPTEMBER 2019)
Who needs to eat a lot of peaches, when you can drink them straight from the can? Our latest homage to the humble cobbler uses nature’s candy - peach - to capture the essence of walking into the kitchen on bake day. Wafting aromas of baked pie crust, vanilla and cinnamon emerge from the glass, with a well-balanced stone fruit aroma. We didn’t use millions of peaches – but we sure did use a lot. The beer is a delightful medium gold colour, glowing like the late summer sun. As always, our fruit beers actually taste like beer! It finishes dry and clean, with a lingering nutty malt complexity from the wheat and Golden Naked Oats, with just a hint of fruit tartness.

HERE & NOW BROWN ALE (released AUGUST 2019)
This outrageously unique beer started life as a brown ale; nutty, chocolatey and rich. It’s almost exclusively made with Alberta malt from Origin Malting and Red Shed Malting. We dry-hopped it with an experimental hop called HBC 472 - which sounds like a sci-fi bad guy and is about as weird. You’ll notice aromas of oak, coconut, bourbon, pineapple, vanilla, peach and a skiff of cinnamon. Yep, all from one hop. It’s unusual alright. In an awesomely mind-blowing way.

MISTY FREQUENCY NEW ENGLAND IPA (released JUNE 2019, RE-RELEASED AuGust 2019)
Remember when you heard that song for the first time? The one that moved you in a way you never new music could? Haze fiends prepare yourself. We’ve created a luscious new juice-bomb that is music to your mouth. A stack of Amarillo, El Dorado and Mosaic hops create a wall of aroma that assaults your senses in the right ways. Wheat and oats lend a pillowy mouthfeel that’s as easy as a breeze in springtime. High notes and undertones work in harmony to create a beer that is perfectly melodic, oh-so balanced and remarkably crushable. Relax, and open up your senses. Let Misty Frequency move you.

HIVE MIND FRUITED HONEY ALE (COLLABORATION WITH DRIZZLE HONEY) (released JUly 2019, TAPPED OUT AUGUST 2019)
100kg of raw Drizzle honey went into the beer to give it a dry, smooth body and gentle spicy and floral aromas. Saskatoon berries lend a vibrant hue and a hint of earthy berry sweetness, while rhubarb provides a most delightful summer fruit tang. It’s bee-eautiful!

FORAGER TRI-BERRY SOUR (released JUly 2019, TAPPED OUT AUGUST 2019)
Forager Tri-Berry Sour is crisp, tart and oh-so refreshing. We’ve blended blackberry, boysenberry and raspberry for an explosive berry fruit flavour and aroma, backed by sharp citrusy acidity. It’s refreshing, delicious and looks awesome in the glass.

SATURATION NEW ENGLAND SESSION ALE (released JUNE 2019, TAPPED OUT JULY 2019)
First there was Super Saturation (so good!). Then there was Super Duper Saturation (soooo good!). Our latest iteration is Saturation, a crushable version of our best-selling hazy that is oh-so-perfect for patio crushing on these hot summer days. A delectable medley of Loral, Mosaic and Amarillo hops is as aromatic as an orchard walk on a summer’s day. We upped the proportion of wheat and oats so you get the same full-flavoured body and mouthfeel and long-lasting taste, without the extra alcohol. This summer, grab some buds, grab some cans, get outside and #GetMoreSaturated!

NIGHT KITCHEn PAStry stout (released march 2019, TAPPED OUT JUNE 2019)
In the Night Kitchen, beer and food worlds collide. We take a full bodied milk stout, and judiciously layer flavour upon flavour to create a beer that is like dessert in a glass, while also tasting like a well-balanced beer. Hazelnut, almond, cinnamon bark, vanilla and custom-roasted cacao beans from Calgary’s own bean to bar experts McGuire Chocolate bring this decadent beer to life. This beer was brewed in collaboration with CRAFT Southcentre for their community tap to raise funds for the MS Society. It is served at CRAFT under the name Hard Wired Pastry Stout.

COOL AS - CUCUMBER LIME GOSE (RELEASED JUNE 2019, TAPPED OUT JUNE 2019)
Dang. It’s hot. This calls for something refreshing. Something tart and zingy. Something cool. Cool As is a thirst-quenching patio crusher, built for those long, hot Alberta days. Do you like lime? Well, we have lime. We’ve used lime zest, freshly-squeezed lime juice, crushed kaffir lime leaves and sun-dried Middle Eastern loomi limes. The citrus melange has been blended with an unfathomable number of Alberta-grown cucumbers to give an earthy and aromatic undertone. Salt and coriander tie the flavours together to bring the beer to life. Cool As will slake the fiercest thirst and bring joy to the patio season. Cool? Cool.

SUPER DUPER SATURATION IMPERIAL NEPA (RELEASED MARCH 2019, TAPPED OUT JUNE 2019)
Just like our flagship hazy pale ale Super Saturation, but even more super! More beautiful hazy goodness. More crackery malt complexity. A whole lot more Citra and Simcoe hops. More hop variety with some Amarillo thrown in to give it a good old-fashioned burst of citrus and tropical fruit. There is more flavour, more aroma, more heft and more deliciousness. There is a whole lot more of everything, leaving your senses even more saturated. More? Yes, more. Of everything. That’s not just super - it’s super duper.

RISE & SHINE HOPPED HEFEWEIZEN (RELEASED MAY 2019, TAPPED OUT JUNE 2019)
Wake to birdsong. Make coffee. Watch sun rise. Eat breakfast. Read paper. Walk the dog. By the time the rest of the house wakes, you’ve already won the day - and you’re definitely ready for second breakfast. In Bavaria, this is called brotzeit and usually involves a tall glass of hazy hefeweizen beer. Our take on the style has a north American twist. Sabro hops complement the banana and juicy fruit aromas from the German yeast strain. The body is bready and full from the mountains of wheat used to brew this beer. It is a glorious shade of light golden yellow, like an early morning sun flare. Rise and shine. Win the day

LONG WHITE CLOUD HAZY NZ PILS (RELEASED MAY 2019, TAPPED OUT MAY 2019)
Collaboration with Annex Ale Project! Brewed with pilsner malt, carafoam, flaked barley and rolled oats then hopped aggressively with New Zealand Waimea and Wakatu hops, it presents strong notes of honey dew melon, white pepper and crackery malt. It’s named after the Maori word for New Zealand - Aotearoa, meaning land of the long white cloud - which is where Haydon hails from.

LITTLE RED WAGON TART CHERRY PIE ALE (RELEASED APRIL 2019, TAPPED OUT MAY 2019)

When dessert was made with loving hands right there in your kitchen, and smelled and tasted better than anything else? We’ve rolled out an homage to good times and good taste in our Little Red Wagon. Tart red cherries give the beer a most gorgeous violet glow, while delicate additions of cooking spices and a mountain of Golden Naked Oats have you swearing you’re smelling fresh-baked pie. PIPE AND SLIPPERS WHEAT PORTER (RELEASED FEBRUARY 2019, TAPPED OUT APRIL 2019)
That winter life is hard. Sometimes you just need to slump into your favourite chair, put your feet up and chill the hell out. Pipe & Slippers Wheat Porter is how we unwind. A subtle wisp of smoke tickles the nostrils one minute, then is gone the next. Chocolate and caramel notes dominate, with toffee and dried fruit flavours and aromas creating a wonderful complexity. Delectable wafts of freshly toasted bread remind you that wheat is your friend and wants you to be happy. Some say there is no such thing as a wheat porter. We say stick it in your pipe and drink it.

A treasure trove of Sabro, Amarillo and Mosaic hops bring notes of tangerine, mango, cream, berry fruit and light wood. Wheat and oats lend a soft, pillowy mouthfeel that lingers on your tongue like a slowly melting orange creamsicle. Tune out, drop in and let your senses float to their outer limits. IN THE HALLWAY WITH THE AXE PLUM GOSE (RELEASED JANUARY 2019, TAPPED OUT FEBRUARY 2019)
All work and no play makes Professor Plum a dull boy. Was he the mysterious purple-clad figure roaming the halls of the Overlook Hotel the night the Grady twins died? We have no clue. We do, however, know a good mash-up when we see it. Like the salty and sour flavours of German gose beer, melded with the rich, dark fruit notes of ripe plum. Additions of coriander and wheat give a lingering flavour that shines. It’s to die for.

ULTRAVIOLET BLUEBERRY COBBLER ALE (RELEASED DECEMBER 2018, TAPPED OUT JANUARY 2019)
Fresh-baked cobbler - does anything smell better? We’ve captured the essence of walking into the kitchen on bake day with our first fruit beer. Wafting aromas of baked pie crust, vanilla and cinnamon emerge from the glass, which is filled by a beer of the most vibrant shade of violet thanks to an absurd dose of blueberry puree. Don’t worry beer purists - this beer finishes dry and clean, with a lingering malt complexity. A fruit beer that actually tastes like beer!

Lost and Won Wee HEavy (RELEASED DECEMBER 2018, TAPPED OUT JANUARY 2019)
“When the hurlyburly’s done, When the battle’s lost and won.” So says the second witch in the opening of Shakespeare’s Macbeth and so we find ourselves after the hurlyburly of brewery construction. This rich Scottish ale blends seven malts, including specialty malts from Red Shed Malting (AB) and base malt from Origin Malting (AB). Dried fruit notes dominate, with hints of toffee, chocolate and caramel, and finishes medium-dry.
